Hoi An Dive Center  The beautiful Riverside Town of Hoi An is situated on the coast about 45 minutes South of Da Nang. It is a living museum oozing charm & culture from every corner.Hoi An was almost completely destroyed during the Tay Son rebellion in the 1770’s. It was then rebuilt and served as an important International port until the river silted up that allowed Da Nang to flourish as a commercial centre. During French colonisation, Hoi An served as an administrative centre and later, during the American War, the Town, with the co-operation of both sides, remained almost completely undamaged. Thus, Hoi An really offers a sense of history unique in SE Asia.
 The new and improved Rainbow Hoi An is now open. Our new Dive Centre and Equipment showroom is located at 39b Tran Hung Dao Street, Hoi An, directly opposite the Hoi An Museum. Upstairs we have 2 modern classrooms ready to help you get started in or continue your diver education. Georges Erhard (English MI) of Phu Quoc fame is heading the new team this season and is ably assisted by John Land (English IDC Staff), Charlotte Welch and Cliff Lockyer (Kiwi MSDT Couple), Rafael Westernburgs (Belgium MSDT) and George Shoesmith will be taking a sabbatical away from the noise of Saigon throughout the season. In the office we have Yen, Huyen and Hien (Office guru's), and finally Quan our resident Vietnamese Divemaster and frog fish spotter extraordinaire.Daily Dive and Snorkelling trips incorporate 2 stops, except for Tuesdays and Saturdays where we make 3 stops for diving and snorkelling, before heading for lunch. All PADI courses are on offer, from PADI Discover Scuba Diving to PADI Assistant Instructor. We are also able to help new divers achieve the most prestigious entry level certification - The PADI National Geographic Open Water Course. Courses start every day and are kept to a maximum of 4 students to 1 experienced instructor for safety, quality diver education, and fun. All trips are fully inclusive of Hotel transfers (central Hoi An and outlying area's only), Full diving equipment rental, Dive Guide (maximum of 4 to a group), All Marine Park and Cham Island entrance fees, fresh drinking water, fresh fruit in-between your dives, and a freshly cooked lunch on Cham Island. Advanced booking for diving is recommended to secure preferred dates for diving and courses. All bookings require a deposit payment via PayPal or bank Transfer.
